adventures at the danbury railway museum | fairfield county documentary photographer

Some go to the Danbury Railway Museum and see a sleepy, some what dated little museum missing any of the modern day bells and whistles that most children's museums have. But when I go, I see a charming, old-school place full of character, neat old trains, and fun photo ops. I took the boys there on a cold December afternoon and we had the whole place - and the beautiful late afternoon light - to ourselves. There are at least 20 old trains outside in the rail yard, and of course, it was a little boys dream to be able to explore. What a blast they had!
