Sometimes life just puts you in the path of the right people at the right time, if you're open to them. Last year, I was planning a women's retreat for our non-profit organization, Anchors For Hope, and I knew I was missing a really inspirational workshop leader. Through the magic of social media, I one day stumbled upon Lindsay Gibson's instragram account and thought, "Wow, she could be an amazing fit!" To my surprise, she lives about 20 minutes from my house, and within a few weeks we had connected, met for coffee, and begun planning the retreat workshop together. Fast forward to today, we hosted the first Hope & Healing Retreat together and she has become a good friend, and a such an inspiration to me. 

Lindsay has faced many hardships in her life, including being a victim of rape as a teenager and more recently losing her child, Joseph, to stillbirth. Even in the face of so much tragedy, she has learned to reclaim her joy and focus on what truly matters - love. And as you can see from the beautiful photos, there is no shortage of that in her family.
