There was a peaceful calm about this family that drew me in and allowed me to really see them. Baby E was not exactly thrilled about the camera, and there was lots of shhhh-ing and rocking to soothe her, but her mom and dad stayed so calm. And I love capturing those moments the most - the ones when baby really needs to be comforted. It’s probably stressful for parents because they were hoping baby would be perfectly happy all session, but it really does allow me to see all of their love and emotion for their tiny little human. It’s a challenging time, having a newborn, but one that we all look back on with so much love.
